I have a post card dated around 1925 of the Royal Navy Monument sent by
family members. Is it still standing?

Thanks Lizzy but this isn't the same memorial as in the post card. It's
been a whole 2 weeks since I looked at the postcard!!! The memorial seemed
to sit up higher and It wasn't a fountain. It looked to be taller than a 2
story house and was in the center of a square.

Sounds rather like the Cenotaph. Have a look at this picture:

Thanks Johanna, but this isn't it either. I tried searching around on the
link you provided but didn't see it. Oh well, I'll see if I can find the
picture of the postcard and search later. I really appreciate all the help.
