Is there anyone on the list who uses Bernina software to create single
line quilting motifs? I purchased Bernina's Editor Plus Ver. 5 a
couple of weeks ago after being assured that I could take some line
drawings I already had and turn them into continuous line quilting
motifs. I've gone through all the tutorials and tried every
combination of query words on google to find an answer with no
success. The problem is that I was counting on it for a project that I
need to finish by mid October which is before the first class
scheduled for the product. Besides which, I already know how to do
what the class is concerned with, but I could nab the teacher for a
quick tutorial on what I want to do. My only other option if I can't
find an answer, is to start free motion stitching 36 odd different
motifs. I can't move on until I have these pieces finished.
It's possible I was given wrong advise and I really need the Designer
Plus or something else all together. Any help would be greatly
appreciated.

artista@lyris.quiltropolis.com you might try posing this question
to one of the Bernina embroidery forums
http://www.quiltropolis.net/maillists/maillistsdetail.asp?catid=3DBernina < I think you might be able to sign up here... or noodle around the
quiltropolis site and find the right list

Thanks KJ,
I've joined and posted a message. Hopefully someone there will be
able to give me a couple of pointers, if only to say I can't get there
from here.

I do think it can be done. I just don't know how to do it!

Whilst we're on the subject of the Embroidery module and Bernina, can
anyone help me with this?
I have an Artista 180 (2000 version). It attaches to the computer
with a parrallel port plug. My computer (laptop) doesn't have that
sort of connection. It only has USB. I went back to the shop and
they said Bernina didn't make a connection, nor would tha software
work on my O/S (then XP, now Vista)
Has anyone solved this problem without buying a new machine/module?
It seems mightily unfair that I bought this thing at great expense,
and now I can't use it because of a connection and no upgrade of the
sotware. It cost a bomb.
