I thought you might like to see the quilt display area I have created
out of an alcove that is in the attic room that is used for quilting
large quilts. It is still a work in progress and I have created a
separate space on my webshots photo sharing site to show some things
that are going on during the construction phase. The boards that hold
up the poles which will be where the quilts are hung for display, are
going to be painted white, so that they blend in to the wall surface
and don't take away from the quilts, when they are up there. The poles
have the first coat of varnish on them and they will be varnished and
not painted. This is an interesting use of the wall space that was in
the room and it still allows passage down the length of the wall. The
space is unusable for anything other than wall hangings, due to the
need to transit the area. There will be 6 different spaces, each about
38" wide to hang various numbers of quilts. I will post pictures of
the finished space with quilts in place, as soon as it is finished.
There are 2 views from different angles.

Fantastic as usual John!

Any time you're bored, Spain has a lot of room for improvement!
