I just finished uploading an album full of photos from the Blue Ridge
Quilt Festival to my Webshots page. You can see the show at:
http://home-and-garden.webshots.com/album/564475446TufTeX?vhost=home-and-garden

There is also an album of computer screen wallpapers/backgrounds at:

And for those who may have missed it earlier this year, my local
library had it's annual quilt hanging and the album for that is at:

Thank you for the pictures. I especially love the bargello and the
lime green quilts.

Thanks! Love that "Aquamarine" -are those buttons? The shiny spots?

Hi Debra,

Thanks for sharing. The Aquamarine quilt is my favorite, and I also
really liked the Lone Star quilts (I'm always looking for unusual
settings).

I think those "shiny spots" on Aquamarine are appliqued
circles....fabulous use of value - they do shine against the darker
green. She even sewed some light green ones on the white portions, and
quilted circles into other empty spaces.

I have a question about the Karen Stone challenge quilt - do you
happen to know what the challenge was? Were the curves appliqued on or
pieced (!!!!) ?

Looks like it was a great show.

Karen Stone's quilt was one of the Pilgrim/Roy Invitational Challenge
exhibit quilts. It looked to me like the arcs were pieced. It was so
different from the others in that exhibit. The photo doesn't do that
one justice.
