I've used the "report spam" feature in Gmail (google's mail function)
and it makes a very quick difference. I'm having a rip roarin' time
tonight reporting all the obnoxious and nasty "spam" that's on our
group the last day or two. Good grief, what are people thinking these
days? I mean, one of the posts (and you all know which one I'm talking
about) just about made my eyes pop. And I'm not easily offended.
People used to have to find ads for such things in the back of
magazines that they bought in brown paper wrappers from behind the
counter. Now, they just broadcast the .... contraption......in my
quilting newsgroup. I understand needing to make a living, but this is
really over the top.
