After 2 years of 'tree trunk ankles', Doctor's medication and those
horrible thick tight stretchy socks, I have found the solution and after
3 weeks I can see bones again!

Its The Waterfall Diet:

http://tinyurl.com/yhw9aud for the US Amazon or

http://tinyurl.com/ygykvkn for the UK one

Its a 'Look Inside' book.

I actually only lost about 4lbs the first week, but have lost every week
since and now I have my ankles back and am much more comfortable walking.

It looked a bit daunting when I started but as DD who is a personal
trainer sent it to me as one of her clients had found it helpful, I felt
I had to at least give it a go, especially as she said it was a late
birthday present. Much to my surprise I have found it easier than
any other diet I have been on (which must be almost all!) and have never
been hungry.

Today: Breakfast = Home made muesli with soya milk (which I thought
would be disgusting, but I now prefer it to cows milk.
Lunch = Brown rice topped with salad and chicken with a bit of humus
(also surprisingly tasty) instead of mayonnaise). Apple or a Soya Yoghurt
Dinner = DH is having Spaghetti Bolognaise but mine will have chicken
instead of the beef in the sauce and I have some Rice Spaghetti instead
of the wheat one) followed by strawberries and blueberries topped with
Vanilla Soya Yoghurt. I find it no trouble to grill me a chicken piece
alongside his red meat, etc. or to construct my lunch from ready cooked
items in the fridge and then make him cheese or something sandwich.

NAYY but overjoyed at being reunited with my ankles!

I'm delighted that you've found a solution, Sally, and kind of jealous that
your DD is a personal trainer. I surely need one. Polly

Its nice to have encouragement from her. Most of the time I wish she
lived nearer, but when it comes to the training bit she is just the
right distance away! (Love of exercise isn't hereditary!)

Congratulations on finding a good solution to the "cankle" problem
that so many of us have. Sounds like you are on your way to meaningful
lifestyle changes. Good for you!

Not sure I could take the soya milk, but having looked at the Look
Inside on Amazon, it certainly looks like something I could try. Ankles
are a problem, but the knees are worse! They are jetted like a 16th C
inn! ;)

Thank you. Something worth looking into.
