A starting bid of $25 for a handmade quilt is "profitable"? How much do
they think this costs? Not to mention labor??

I think I've seen those quilt tops on e-bay. They're imported from
India or somewhere like that.
Probably akin to those "hand quilted" quilts you see at the Dollar
Store for $39. Made by some
10 year old earning six cents a day.
Just my humble opinion. Heck, it takes me $25 just to *get started* on
a quilt top. There's
no way a quilt of decent quality can be sold for $25.

NO way, unless it's tiny, or at a an yard sale where someone doesn't
know the value... Those cheap quilts even feel gross.
