I tried this post yesterday, but it didn't seem to take, so if it is a
duplicate, please excuse me.
Has anyone else ever read books by Sandra Dallas. I just finished my
first "Prayers for Sale" and I highly recommend it. It has many
things I like in a book, including historical fiction, quilting, and a
happy ending. What's not to like. I have ordered another one that my
library doesn't have since I enjoyed this one so much.

I haven't read that one Heidi but I have read a bunch of
her books. Buster's Midnight Cafe is the only one that I
just didn't enjoy. If you can read the older ones in the order
they were released they sort of work together sort of in a
slight way.

Howdy!
Just about all of them, beginning w/ "The Persian Pickle Club".

My favorite historical non-fiction from a quilter:
"No Time On My Hands" by Grace Snyder. Wonderful story.

Thanks, Heidi - I've added this one to my list of books to read. I've read a
few - Persian Pickle Club, The Chili Queen, and Diary of Mattie Spenser
(which I really enjoyed - and if you try it and like it, you should read
"These Is My Words" by Nancy Turner).

Howdy!
"These Is My Words" is quite a trip.
Pic of "The Real Sarah Prine":
http://www.nancyeturner.net/pagetwo.htm The follow-up books go more into a fictional tale, but still worth
reading. Reminds me of the "oldest woman in the world", Gertrude Baines,
who died a couple of weeks ago at age 115; she was born in 1894 - the
changes she witnessed in this world - wow!
