Here is the long awaited Schoolhouse quilt that I am making for one of
my in-laws who is a retired school teacher. The final size came out to
63" x 63". It is one of three copies that are planned. One for another
relative who is also a teacher, and one for myself. I am a dropout,
but I love this pattern, so I am going to do one for myself as a
keeper. I got the pattern from the Quilt-pro software, and modified it
a bit to achieve the look you see. That is great software, as it
allows you to tweek the designs and then print a template and cutting
list. It takes a lot of the drudgery out of figuring out how to make
these multi piece quilts, much like EQ does. Hope you like it.

Love it, John. I particularly like the little sky behind each school house.

This one took the longest of all that I have done. There were a lot of
eentsy teensy pieces on the belfry which were time consuming to say
the least. There are 30 pieces in each schoolhouse. It is enough to
make a quilter drop out.

John, it's gorgeous. I do love the sky fabric. Just the perfect touch
for that "little red schoolhouse."
