Scissors???

I need to purchase some good scissors for my sewing room. Any
suggestions as to brand? I have a great pair in the kitchen that have a
pic of a guy standing on them.

Kai cut. They're from Japan. My first pair was so sharp and so smooth
that I bought another smaller pair right away. They're far and away
better than my little Ghingers. (did I misspell that?) So far as I''m
concerned they're the very best available.

Yes! I got a set of Kai at the Chicago quilt show last month, on the
recommendation of a quilting friend.
They are great!

That was going to be my answer as well. I bought a set last Fall and I've
never seen anything that compares. They are SO sharp.

I like both Fiskars and Ginghers, particularly when they are gifts!
Good scissors are, as you know, rather expensive, but if you can keep
them out of the hands of children and husbands, good scissors will
last for years and years. So -- get a really nice pair (or two!) that
you like, and hide them!
