Three in the 'conquer the scrap bin' lot, Jeanne. One was the one-eared
mice - that one's simply HST. One Louise called Purple Passion. All it
is - squares offset so none of them ever have to line up with any other one;
and ! the most fun - the crib quilt that is leftover strings wonkily
stitched to a rectangle.
I understand about your protecting your Hug but you can only do so much.
I had thought to guard ours against sun-fading but DH is so crazy about it
that it's pretty much hopeless. Just can't resist the love that shines
through. Polly

Polly is right. The only way to decrease your scraps enough to notice
is to dump them all in a box and send them to someone else*.
I've just finished a scrappy Jacob's Ladder top in mostly blue
scraps. Is the level in the basket lower? No! Although it does have
fewer blue pieces. But the others were busy partying while the blue
scraps went to work.

Yep, especially the red and pink ones. They definitely need some
pruning back!
