Size of lap/snuggle/throw quilts

What size do you make your lap/snuggle/throw quilts--the one's not
intended for a bed?

Whom are you planning to snuggle, my dear? If it's a toddler watching
cartoons on the sofa, 45 x 60 should be just right. OTOH, if you're
throwing one over a big guy, you may want to go up to twin size. Polly

i think i usually make lap quilts 60" x 72", or bigger for bigger
people.
if i make 12" blocks, i use 4 across and 5 down with 2" sashing and a
3" border.
these usually fit most laps.

(probably should have asked the question before I started) and the
smallest will 64 X 76. I didn't put any sashing and made 30 12" blocks.
Anyway, I'm in the ballpark. ;-)

In that case, I would say about 64 x 76 would be... PERFECTAMUNDO!
(But you might consider making the other one a little bit larger...)
