Larisa, I think Nightmist's post answers your question. No one actually is
removing the OT from your subject line - their newsreader or something is
removing it for them.
I had this problem when I was using Outlook Express, so when I replied to a
message, I had to make a conscious effort to put the OT back in. My
conscious effort isn't always the best, though, so . . .

Thank you all for your replies, it actually makes sense to me
now....for some reason, NightMist's comment was not getting processed
in my "mom dealing with sick child and sick hubby" brain. I shall go
back and re-read it, but thank you for all the clarification. Polly,
I was not accusing, just questioning, Doc, you made perfect
sense...and yes, I sometimes get totally lost when it started out
about fabrics, etc. but I only get the most recent messages which are
about fudge, house repairs, or whatever.....the only way I can see
house repairs and quilting going together are if you take a look at
the drywall I put up.....long story for another time

Hi Larissa,
I think Nightmist's explanation of some readers automatically stripping
out the OT when it's followed by a colon, maybe why your posts have
gotten changed. I didn't realize this would happen until she mentioned
it a couple of days ago. Now, I am careful not to use the colon.
Best regards,

I don't mind, as long as people mark OT. I read if I have time and I'm
in the mood, otherwise just skip all those. It just doesn't feel right
if rctq doesn't produce at least a few dozen posts every day!

I agree. But if you like looking at quilts and projects, it's always
nice to do a search on the internet for quilting blogs, shows, museums.
It's a good way to get a quilting fix, I've found (without actually
buying fabric).
