I sit here writing this with tears rolling down my cheeks.

When I got home this evening I could see two boxes sitting on my porch and I
thought they were the books I had ordered from eBay and the DVD's I had
ordered from Amazon (the bigger box was an Amazon box). When I got to the
porch and saw Sandy/Ragmop's return address I had a suspicion what might be
in the box.

I never dreamed I would be a recipient of an RCTQ Hug Quilt. All you
wonderful, beautiful people - the quilt is wonderful and beautiful. The
love you all put into my Hug Quilt will help me through many a lonesome
evening this winter and for winters and years to come. No one can really
know how much a Hug Quilt means until you receive one.

Next Monday will be the 4th month anniversary of Wayne's death and I still
can't believe he's gone. He was the youngest of five and all of his
family - siblings, parents and grandparents have lived into their 80's and
early 90's. His oldest sister was 90 in September, but Wayne was gone from
us at only 75.

Words really can't express how much my Hug Quilt and all of you mean to me
except to say . . . .

I love you all.

Wow. That is ten kinds of beautiful.

I look forward to building up my confidence and stash to the extent that I
feel that I can contribute to these HUGs. Donna, I hope this one will be a
daily joy to you. I don't see how such a beautiful thing from such
beautiful people could fail to be a comfort.

Edna:
Any one of us is welcome to participate in any hug quilt project. There is
no 'test' to pass! Some of the blocks are complex, but many are rather
simple, some are even just a plain square of material; each contribution is
an expression of support and friendship. So, if you get the urge, go ahead
and join. (First you'd need to ask the hug meister to put your name on the
notification list. I think that is Kate in Michigan.) TTFN,
Pat in Virginia
