I happened across a funny quilt, "The Perils of Sunbonnet Sue" at:

Howdy!

I remember this from years ago; it went along w/ the
Bad Sue quilts, where Sue was doing some pret-ty "bad" stuff,
murder, bank robbing, prostitution, drowning small critters,
Lizzy Sue w/ her axe, setting fires, streaking thru' a stadium;
some of the quilters had quite a time trying to tame their Sues,
or just catch them on cloth.
