http://www.quilterstv.com/ In mid August, this ruler was mentioned in
Polly's 'comfort zone' discussion - for anyone who might be
interested, one of the videos available on quilters' tv demonstrates
the use of this ruler. Other new videos available include Victory
Quilts segments from Paducah with Eleanor Burns. jennellh

Sigh...
The internet makes some things easier... and some just more frustraing. I
just can't find the video clip of the x ruler (it hides even better than the
shophop bunny!).
When I click on the programming link it takes me to
http://www.quilterstv.com/schedule/tuesday-lineup

The first video is tools of the trade and no x-ruler there, just
embellishment techniques with glue, foils, and angelina fibers.

Would it be possible to post the name of the video to watch?

Thanks so much,
Lisa in NJ

Thanks!

I really appreciate the link to the video. I've seen the ruler before, and
wondered about how it worked.

Howdy!

Oh, look, RobertaZ: a scrap maker!

That ruler is perfect for making lots more scraps.

I hate the way that woman uses that rotary cutter. Dull blade?
She can't make a clean cut to begin with, and she cuts towards herself,
cuts at odd angles, has her elbows all over the place,
"under the arm cutting" as they say themselves.
Checking my rulers I see that they're already marked w/ lines that
will give me the same effect.
But, it's another ruler for the "I love to collect rulers!" fans,
and these gals are sure excited about it! And they love to emphasize

"FAST!" is not my priority for making quilts. YMMV
