For me, the creepy rubber mat is essential for standing poses. If I
do any of the spread legs things -- warrior, triangle, wide leg
foreward bends, down dog, etc. -- my feet slip further and further
into a split. I want the mat to be very grippy, and I pull my socks
off even in the winter to do those poses.
