I know where Forsyth and Fulton are, but I'm not really familiar with
that area. I moved to Cherokee Co. seven years ago from Stone
Mountain in DeKalb Co. I'm in Waleska, about 20 minutes northwest of
Canton. Waleska is the home of Reinhardt College.
I will definitely get the roof repaired one way or the other.
Fortunately, the area this is happening isn't in the "living" part of
the house, but in a laundry/bath area just at the top of the stairs
down to the garage. It's about as far away from the quilting room as
it's possible to get!

OY -- you're way the other side of Cherokee from me. I know where
Waleska is been through there several times when DH and I were just out
driving around.
Keep the buckets handy for the leaky roof. It's supposed to gear up
for more rain starting tomorrow night! Weather guy on the radio said it

Fortunately the drip was so slow and small that a bucket wasn't
necessary. (I do have plenty of buckets though in case it gets
worse.) A small towel was all that I needed. Nothing dripped at all
except during the very heaviest, blowing winds. We'll see what
happens when this next batch of rain comes in.
I'm in the Lake Arrowhead community in Waleska. It's a few miles
northwest of the flashing red light at the college. Waleska has very
little other than the college, fire department, sherriff's office,
City Hall, a gift shop, a beauty salon, a pharmacy, a Dollar General,
and a gift shop. I have to drive the 20 to 25 minutes to Canton for
any normal shopping. To get fabric, other than the little bit that
Wal-Mart still has, I have to drive to JoAnn's off of Barrett Pkwy,
and that's quite a drive for me!

I am not Tia Mary, but I am in Georgia. Heard county, Franklin where the bridge
across the Chattahocee is closed. My tiny farm is muddy but above flood lines
so far.
We needed this rain so bad. Now we are getting it all at once. LOL, I guess we
will find a way to just shower out doors, why pay the electric to pump water
when it falls free from the sky at last.
