See if www.fabric.com has a color you need. A warning - they're a low
budget place. One time they shipped me an order in a Jimmy Dean Sausage
box. The box was new and clean but said "refrigerate immediately". I
waited for days for my fabric and happened to mention it to my sweetheart.
You know how the rest of this story goes. Polly

Wow, Thanx for the laugh I had tears in my eyes I was laughing so hard.
My hubby would have done the same and then remembered days later to tell
me something came. Too funny.
Thanx
Joanna

I'm with Polly about recommending http://www.fabric.com as a
source for velvet. I think what makes the finished quilt so heavy is
all of the velvet PLUS batting PLUS backing. I backed mine with black
satin as it was to be used as a VERY decorative bedspread. I wanted to
be able to get it on & off the bed quickly and satin is good for that --

Both good places - I've shopped them many times! If the actual links
to velvet doesn't work, the first part of the links will.
