indeed! my father once did the dirty on my favourite woollen sweater -
Scottish wool it was and the perfect shade of green too :-(
he washed it on hot once and it was big enough for a 2 year old to wear

Hard to believe there's somebody who hasn't made perfect felt
accidentally -that is indeed all it takes. Try it out on an old wool
sweater.
