yup, its got every shade of green in the world.
it is the most beautiful 'hunk of fabric' (polly called it that) in the
world.
this beautiful quilt arrived here in 2 days...swamp to island.
i dont know how to thank so many of you.
a couple of folks i dont even recognize.
there is every method on it. pieced, paperpieced, 3D folded, applique,
embroidery, beading.
all those beautiful greens. i knew greens all go together perfectly.
never thot i'd have the joy of owning one of these tho.
i'll see if i can get dd or ds to take a pix of it soon.
til then hopefully Polly has a pix of it she can put online.
i'll will try not to get too many tears on my quilt.
i'd sure rather i didnt have it.
sorry, that is not to sound ungrateful at all,
i'd just rather have my Tim here to hold and love.
cyberhugz to all of you who made blocks for me.
crying in the south pacific,
jeanne

Trust me. It wasn't easy.
Shipping a Hug to an island takes some serious comflagggeration. Didn't
Dare put a value on it. Don't want to attract attention. Don't Dare
accept free insurance of $ 100. I valued Jeanne's Hug at $5 and called it a
blanket.
Customs and Delivered Duty and assorted crap was the Ultimate Challenge.
You'd think we were sending Jeanne seeds for her very own hydrocodone
factory instead of just our love.
When I opened the package from Louise who did the quilting for Jeanne's
Hug, I was overpowered by the love from so many; including those lurkers who
hug with us but never speak here. Overpowered indeed.
Wrap in our best wishes, good thoughts, constant prayers and love, dear
Jeanne. We hold you close . . . and now you can feel it for sure. Polly

We're so glad it arrived safely and is doing its job. All Hugs are
beautiful, and this one is no exception - you've always told us how
wonderfully greens go together, but I couldn't quite imagine it until I saw
it for myself (and now you know why I was so interested in noticing all the
greens in nature while DH and I were on a drive!).
I'll post pictures on Webshots (sorry everyone, I still haven't moved my
account or decided for sure what to do with it) and will post here when
they're up.
