Hya everyone... my name is shelley and i live in queensland aus... i have
just finished my second attempt at quiltmaking..
It is a kids quilting project of a cat block..now just to make some more for
a lap quilt...
The first project was a snowball quilt made from curtain fabric sample books
and i gave that to my grand daughter for her 5th birthday.. the pictures are
on my webshots site if you would like to have a look :-)
I first got interested in quilting when i joined the local sewing group and
decided to give it a try, but now i am hooked... :-)

Welcome Shelley.
We have at least one other friend on here from Queensland, so you won't
feel lonely!
What a fascinating website. I loved the pictures of your pets. Thanks
for sharing.
The quilt for Krystal is just right for her - very girly and pretty
colours.
The cat blocks will look lovely together. I do hope you don't mind if I
make one point to you about that: perhaps you could mark the positions
of the button eyes, rather than sewing them on, before you have done
your quilting. They could really get in the way of the quilting, and
you might have broken needles if they hit a button - and they would be a
nuisance to have to keep avoiding. I am speaking from experience here

>gg<, but you guessed that I'm sure!
I hope we'll get to see the cat quilt when the top is finished.
