I wish I'd made something that cute. The first doll I made was truly
u-g-l-y. It was adored by our niece and 40 years later she still cherishes
it. How mortifying. I do wish I'd seen this Raggedy Ann back then. Lesson
learned: if you ever make a truly ugly doll, trash it before some tot
adopts it and proclaims 'look what Aunt (YOUR name here and loudly) made
just for me'. You will never ever live it down. Car theft and implants may
be forgotten but ugly dolls go on forever. Polly
