folks is folks, true enough.
tis sad that the different groups of 'folks' cant get along in the scheme of
the universe.
now if they could connect thru quilting that might work out better than
trying to force a connection thru some idealogical abstract concept that
manifests itself in the notion that ' if you dont like my concept then
you're wrong and i hate you and want to destroy you' concept.
this seems to work badly on both sides of the concept.
makes no sense at all to me...it is an abstract concept at best.
thats how i see it but i'm just one of the other folks, few of us around i
think.

From where? Earth? :-) Geometry is mathematics, and that's pretty
universal. People marvel at similarities between this culture and
that, how some concepts seem to spring up independently on opposite
sides of the planet... It's fun stuff to observe, learn about, and
discuss, but a lot of it comes down to a simple basic: folks is
folks. ;-)

Enjoy.

Hi J*,

show/hide quoted text

LOL! I love it! Or we could connect thru folk dancing... or
boardgames... or casino gambling... or picking up litter... or model
railroading... or making earmuffs for people who live in the desert
but can't afford hats or aluminum oxide to prevent them from
sunburning their ears... But God forbid we connect thru some abstract
concept! :-D

I gotta stop typing - I'm laughing so hard the tears are coming down
my cheeks and I can't see the screen anymore!

Thank you - I sorely needed that!

Small picture, makes me think of counted-thread embroidery.
