Hello everybody
Please excuse my English... English is not my first language. I do
speak Spanish.
I am trying to make my first bed cover, for my daugther's bed.
I fall in love with the sunbonnets...
I want to make it with a technique called "invisible hand applique"
I don't have a clue of how to do it.
I have downloaded a lot of information from internet, but still not
sure about how to make it.
Is there anyone here who want to help me?
thanks very much....
Sandy... (uk)

Sandy, the Sunbonnet quilts are loved by many and you will enjoy creating
the little pictures. I am worried that invisible hand applique needs many
hours and fine skills. If you are a beginner, why don't you make just one
block for a pillow top? If you enjoy the making of it, then you can go on
to a bedsize quilt. My own Sunbonnet quilt is appliqued with sewing machine
embroidery stitches with some embroidery by hand. It is a sweet and happy
quilt and was facile. (I think that is the Spanish word for easy. I can
conjugate verbs in Spanish but have not found it to be a useful skill.)
