I found this on a sewing website - some have been seen before - all of
them make sense.....jennellh

Living on Earth is expensive, but it does include a free trip around
the sun every year.

How long a minute is depends on what side of the bathroom door you are
on.

Birthdays are good for you; the more you have, the longer you live.

Happiness comes through doors you did not even know you left open.

Ever notice that the people who are late are often much jollier than
the people who have to wait for them?

Most of us go to our grave with our music still inside of us.

If Wal-Mart is lowering prices every day, how come nothing is free
yet?

You may be only one person in the world, but you may also be the world
to one person.

Some mistakes are too much fun to only make once.

Don't cry because it's over; smile because it happened.

We could learn a lot from crayons: some are sharp, some are pretty,
some are dull, some have weird names, and all are different
colors....but they all exist very nicely in the same box.

A truly happy person is one who can enjoy the scenery on a detour.

And when I think of all the 'detour' signs and roads we have been on-some
cause we had too--some cause we wanted to. Once in a blue moon, they turn
out badly.like the one on our last trip. They were "tarred and chipped the
road" and we were led thru 10 miles of it at 20 MPH --then let loose on our
own for the next 56. Had a fella coming the other way as fast as he dared.
We have 2 window chips.....mine --directly in front of me and DH's low. Mine
is already 'cracking', so we'll have to replace the window. SIGH

All I can think is he was in for a surprise a few miles down as HE would
have had to wait like the rest of us for the escort....there weren't any
side roads.

On the other hand, we have seen a lot of our country that most ppl miss when
they stay on the main highways.

Butterfly (Guess you could say the same about life in general)

Hey,Butterfly, Check your car insurance. In Arizona most insurance will
replace the wind shield with no deductible. <G> Had to have mine replace
a couple of years ago and it was no problem. Called the insurance
company, they sent someone to do it at the house. That was it.
Windshields need replacing so often in the desert, especially since most
roads both in and out of town are chip sealed. <G>

surprisingly enough its the same here.
we sometimes just get the ding fixed before it cracks out.
when its too far gone, the insurance covers the lot.
i'm guessing its because it is a mandatory piece of the car.
by law you have to have a windshield.
works for me, lol.
