This quilt has me fascinated, it appears to be the typical yo-yo quilt but
it's not.
Run you mouse over the quilt for a close up, looks like the pieces are
pleated, and then not joined together but sown onto a base.
My friend and I are having a discussion? over this, any thoughts?

I think they are yo-yos but the other way up to usual.

Yes, Giant Suffolk Puffs!! I wouldn't like to tackle ones of that size
even with the gadget I got at the show yesterday, and think of the
yardage they'd take.
