This is a general question to rctq so I don't upset anyone.
The rules for posting have changed a bit since my early days and I am new
back to rctq so this is a precaution against offending anyone.
I am getting a lot of direct emails from the earlier post on software, as
well as the response posts, but not everyone is sending the same info.
Would anyone in the NG be upset if I posted a few standard questions for
reply to me (not rctq posts) so I can get a list of who has what and who
wants or is willing to give help? A bit like a block swap list but for
software info I guess.
I don't want any more identification than is in rctq now so don't panic - I
am not out to invade anyone's personal space! Any spam protection in email
addresses will remain, and the list will only be emailed to those who choose
to be on it.
Please let me know what you think. If anyone objects I can just email each
response address individually - slower and clumsier but same end result. No
sinister sub-plots. Just trying to get help for new software users and have
a bit of fun with a virtual swap.
Let me know what you think - one objection and I will drop the idea

ask away and i shall reply to your home addy as requested.
heck, i reckon its a swap of different kind.
i have and use eq4, tho not proficient i can find my way around enough to do
what i want to do on it.
i've scanned fabs into it, drawn blocks, designed with different layouts.
i'll help anyone i can.
heck everyone here knows that already, been helping here for bout 5 yrs now.

Sounds like all you want to do is set up a swap. So ask your questions
and those of us who want to join in will -- just like melissa's and
teri's and frood's and anyone else's swaps :-)
