I've been looking on Amazon for books on altering clothes and came upon
this one "Altering Women's Ready to Wear" by Mary A. Roehr. Has anyone
used it and if so, how do you like it?

Pat, this, and Mary's companion book, "Altering Men's Ready to Wear",
are almost the only alterations books I know about at the moment. She's
sold tens of thousands of them, too, based on her experiences as an
alterationist for many years. Mary has also written for both Threads and
Sew News, if that means anything to you.

I own both and they are terrific resources, esp for mens wear which is
constructed for alteration.
