Britain's oldest brewery is along the road THAT way:

I was swimming in Fversham this morning, just round the corner from the
brewery.

Then there's the Whitstable brewery:

Their Oyster Stout is something worth waiting for.

Just up the road the other way is the Nelson brewery in Chatham Historic
Doackyard. Their brews are... um... Exeedingly yummy! Nelson's Blood
is about my favourite. Proper knife & fork brew, that. Powder Monkey
is great for summer afternoons and picnics.

Hopdaemon are also just up the road, and have yet to prodice anything I
