I did end up going with a polyester blend. They're so much nicer than
the cheap pair that came from the league! And I made three pair, just in
case I get behind in laundry. (The other Moms will be so jealous!)
I even modified the pattern successfully. It originally had a snap
front, with belt loops on the wait, but I just put an elastic waist band
on it. That's what the faulty pair had.
It's not much - but it came out right so I was thrilled with myself.
