I purchased a quilter's Curve Master and
an invisible zipper foot that require an
adapter for my Bernina 1000. I bought
the adapter at a Bernina dealer,
although it did not appear to be
manufactured by Bernina. When I
attempted to use it with either of the
above mentioned feet, the feet rotated
counterclockwise. The dealer said, so
it doesn't work buy a Bernina invisible
zipper foot. I returned the adapter.

My question is: Is this a universal
problem or just a poorly manufactured
adapter.

Any one have a similar experience?

Betsy, I didn't realize it but apparently there are two different
Bernina low shank adapters, designed for different model Berninas. They
are pictured at the bottom of this page, with an explanation of which
one goes with which Berninas:

The one I have for my 1230 is the first one shown. Apparently it's the
one you would need for your 1000, too.
