Awesome score, Kate!! Sounds like very fun stuff to play with at a
most reasonable price. And the money will go to those who need help.
Good stuff all the way around!! :)

Never try to teach a pig to sing. It's a waste of time and just
annoys the pig.

My only problem is when to fit the projects in... back to sewing the
Victorian Undies tomorrow!

A story to warm the heart.
I was recently in a local charity shop to buy pure wool blankets for the dog
beds and saw some really nice fleece. Like a fool, I didn't buy it and only
realised two days later that that it would be perfect to make the grandson a
couple of warm tops for outdoor play in the quickly approaching winter
months.
I went back and of course it was gone, but there was a very nice little two
wheel bike there that was perfect for his first step from his tricycle. It
cost me a whole $A15. It was like brand new.
I love charity shops. Just like a bank for preloved items. You make both
deposits and withdrawals.

Oh, I like that idea. And a subscription lending library... You pay a
little for the priviledge of borrowing the books. Now and again you
keep one, but no-one reminds you or fines you.
