I send mine to Sidtrim in Leeds: 13p each for 20mm buttons, and that
includes postage. Details van be sent on request...

Reminds me - I have a bunch I need to send to be done, or a friend will
be wondering where her lovely cotton dresses have got to!

Hi Kate,

I'm in the process of making the dress I'll be wearing to my son's
wedding in June. By "process" I mean I have purchased the pattern and
supplies. It'll get done. :-) Meanwhile I could use the covered
button connection you mentioned. The dress calls for 5 buttons down
the back of the bodice. You can email me the information or post here,
whatever you like. I'll be ordering from the US, do you see a problem
with your vendor?

They don't have a fully working web site, and I always phone them. They
supply the local tailors with tailoring supplies for the most part, and
are in Leeds. Here's the address and phone number:

SidTrim, 213/219 North Streeet, Leeds LS7 2AA. Phone or fax to 0113
2454673. Email sid@sidtrim.com Please Note: Sidtrim has had problems
with their web site recently and it is currently off line. Please phone
them for a catalogue. They offer apologies for the inconvenience.

They have an entry on my Fabric List on the web site.

Thanks for the info Kate. It will probably be too late for this dress
but I'll write to them all the same. Thanks again.
