CUSTOM TAILOR WASHINGTON DC: I will move to Washington D.C. before
long. I am interested in getting the address/reference of a rather low

Why not try Georges de Paris, who has clothed all our presidents since
Lyndon Johnson?
Not "low budget", but you get what you pay for, which fulfills your "value
for the money" requirement.
A wonderful article (long) about him and his shop appeared in The New
Yorker, Sept 27, 2004, p94. Anybody who sews will appreciate this article.
Highly recommended and entertaining.
