I wrote to Viking Sewing Machine Company because my manual has been
mislaid. Today I received a reply with a free download of the manual I
needed plus a basic sewing guide and a needle guide.
That's good customer service.

It's 10 years old. I know that the original manual is somewhere in the
sewing room, I just can't find it. A lot of things were moved around
Christmas. My son did a family portrait down there and things were moved
out of his way. It took me weeks to find some of the feet I had in a
small box and the five packs of new needles I had just bought. I was
moving things out of the way so they wouldn't be lost and of course I
couldn't find half of it when I went looking again.

Isn't that the way, it usually happens. I remember once, my Dad bought a
new box of men's handkerchiefs and put them away, so we(particularly me)
wouldn't get them out to make doll clothes.
He said, "I put them away so now, only God & I know where they are."
Sometime later, I asked him why he was using an old one that was torn and
wher was his new box.
The answer was, "Now onlky God knows, I forgot where I put them."
