Many newsgroup regulars refuse to do business with anybody who=20
ignores the newsgroup charter, because they don't come here for=20
advertising, and in fact, advertising on Usenet is generally not good=20
netiquette -- and FWIW Ebay rules prohibit people from advertising on=20
newsgroups as well.
Perhaps you have not read the FAQs about the USENET community (what you
are reading/seeing is USENET). Here are some links that deal with
posting ads on newsgroups. =20
