Nah, not really!? You've got all those delicious WW recipes and that
wonderful strong mind that took you all the way to your chocolate velours
outfit figure. For you it's just saying no again, and a couple of pounds are
easily lost. Think of my body, I'm really bursting out of my seams, although
I lose some weight if I manage to refrain from butter on my bread. Today I'm
in the dumps, though, and had all three toasties with butter, and you know,
they can take a lot of butter with all the holes in them. Now I'm feeling
even worse... :-( Anyway, I'm not going to give in to depression and will do
something useful (not sure what, though).

******HUGS******
When I was a child and there were very few things that were decent to
eat (because my mom was a horrible cook for the most part and all of us
children have serious weight problems -- I think it's because we never
learned to listen to our bodies to say when we had had enough to eat
because no matter how much we ate, our taste buds were screaming they
hadn't had anything), the only two things that were in the house that
were good to eat (aside from fresh fruit that she kept in stock when it
was in season) was ice cream and toast with butter and cinnamon sugar.
They are both trigger foods to me, and I try to stay away from them. I
can understand the butter on toast thing, I really can. Spent a lot of
time being diagnosed as severely clinically depressed, except that it
ended up being a whacked thyroid and on thyroid medication I feel
wonderful. But I still remember the feeling.

Thank you! It's the nasty migraine again, I found out. But I'm grateful for
hugs, nevertheless.

Oh dear, that must have been horrible. But I can relate; although my mom was
a decent cook I, too, have no ears for my body, so to say. I try to listen,
and sometimes I succeed, but mostly not. Another very bad trigger is fried
bread with strawberry jam on it. We had that when on vacation in Ireland as
kids, and there they had the slightly salted butter in which my mom fried
the anglo-saxon style white bread (previously unknown to a kid from
sour-dough-rye-bread-land). Oh no, I better stop now. ;-) My thyroid gland
is under medical supervision (shrivelled up, though, Hashimoto thyroiditis)
but I fear menopause is announcing itself, should perhaps go and see a doc
about it. Gotta go, the fairy from hell is awake again.
U. ;-)

I'm a stone and a half up on my WW goal, and not enjoying it. Tummy
wants to keep eating like a mad thing, but knees are screaming STOP! I
need more exercise. Should be swimming tonight, twice tomorrow, and
again on Sunday, which will help!
Eek! Suddenly it's later than I thought! Must go and make hat toiles
for mad customer.
Still not making hats here... ;)

Thank you for sharing that, Olwyn Mary!! Sounds yummy. And you must have
seen that the stand up flip book on my desk is set to "Give the dangerous
drama queen her chocolate" today. lol
