I hadn't sewn with flannel for awhile and recently had bad luck with
several lengths I bought at Joann's--- lots of weaving faults, warped
fabric, and way uneven plus too much shrinkage (from too loose a weave
and poor quality control). I looked at their flannel again a couple
days ago and discovered that most of it was that way... ick!
So I'm wondering if there are better sources for (non-baby) flannel,
perhaps online? Has the quality of flannel degraded generally or is
Joann's just buying particularly lousy goods? I'm afraid to buy from
Fabric.com since they sent me 2 different lengths of poly/cotton
interlock that was supposed to be all cotton per their web site. TIA.
