I got the costumes for the girl and I at the thrift store. ;) She went for
Goth, I was told I couldn't get there from here so I just went for kinda
creepy. lol They said I managed to pull that one off. ;) The other little
girl is our neighbor up the street. She's just about my third child. ;)
So of course we had to take her along with us to trick or treat at the mall.
Had a blast.
DS was Thrilled to pieces with his hakama. You might be able to tell that
from some of the pictures. lol BTW the first pictures of him are out on
the Deck DH spent the summer building. (I'm not allowed to refer to it as a
deck must be Deck. lol)

Hey Sharon,
Love the costumes. They have gotten so big! Your daughter looks almost
grown! Nice costumes. Love the Deck, what state do you live in that you
have so much space behind your house?

Thank you so much! She is 2" taller than me now. lol Not that being 2"
taller than me takes a whole lot, but..... lol You know what I mean. ;)
And the rotten thing rubs it in all the time too! Stinker.
We're in Arkansas. The lot isn't terribly wide, but it is long. The back
third of our lot, which is outside the fence, goes downhill about 45*.
Great for that one good snow we got last year. ;) We had everyone sledding
down our hill!! The really awesome part of where our house is has more to
do with our neighbors' property than ours. ;) They own the 12 acres behind
us. Almost all of it, except where their house was built, is bottom land in
a flood plane. That means it can never be developed. They plan to stay in
that house forever and not sell the property. (which is wonderful, we have
Incredible neighbors all around!!) The really lucky part for us is that we
won't ever have a subdivision back there. We will always have most of that
view, and it has been just gorgeous the last couple weeks as the trees
turned. :) We took one look at that view out the back, and that really
sold us on this house. Last Fall, watching the leaves turn through the
living room window, we knew for sure we wanted to put the French doors in
and add on the deck. It was just too gorgeous of a view not to maximize it.
:) We got very, very lucky when we found this house and I thank my lucky
stars for it every day. ;)
