Those are what I have always called drapery weights. Many years ago,
in my very first sewing class, the instructor told us to buy a section
as it is very useful for measuring curves. I have had that same piece
all these years and still grab for it when I want to measure
something. I think it would be good to put in the hem of the pants as
pressing the hem won't have a tendency to make marks. So far, I have
only found sites that want you to buy a whole roll for about $50!
Looking for something less expensive.
