Hello,
My wife is about to restart her sewing and a replacement machine is
needed. Before she goes off to try some (we've read the consistent
recommendations in this group) we would appreciate any feed back about
the relative merits of two machines which seem likely possible choices:
Husqvarna Emerald (118 or 122)
Toyota 21DES
The use will be for home furnishings and some dressmaking (for both of
which she has a reasonable amount of experience) and possibly a try at
quilting for which she has no experience.
Any comments?
Regards, Colin

Thanks for that! It seems others probably agree with you! And we are off
to the local Husqvarna dealer in the next couple of days.

Happy sewing!
I've had a HV Lily 550 since 1998. I have 19 other sewing machines,
some older than dirt, some newer than Lily, but she's my best girl and
the one I use on most of my professional stuff. The other real regular
is an all mechanical Bernina 1005, given pre-loved for my collection of
sewing-with-kids machines.

Who added the Brother Innovis 10 into the mix as a very well built
machine with functions comparable to the Husqvarna Emerald. I was hoping
to cut down the options!
Any more comments?
