Hello Ladies, have been reading your posts, and can relate.
I have been sewing since I was very young, of course only by hand. Was
not allowed to touch a machine til I was like 13 or 14. Now I have my own.
Hubby bought me a new serger for my birthday, and the Lutterloh System.
The vest pattern is very accurate, but not sure on the shorts yet, have to
cut out another pattern to make sure I get it right.
Anyways, I enjoy sewing and cross-stitching. Take care and God Bless

Welcome to the group. I tend to lurk quietly in the background a lot of the
time, although I do keep up with all the threads. (No pun intended)
I notice you've added useful comments in another thread. One bit of advice,
if I may. Old hands on usenet (which is what newsgroups are) tend to frown
on top posting, where you add your reply above the previous post. It's not
illegal, there's no usenet police going to come knocking on your door,
but....
Most of us weave our replies in and under the previous post, as I am doing.
Some are quite intolerant of top posting, and you may end up being added to
killfiles, where you posts are ignored by some posters. Might I suggest you
try googling for 'netiquette'. There will be numerous entries, and it'll
give you an idea about the conventions - for that's all they are - that are
used in newsgroups.
