So, I think you'd better stay close so we can sympathize and give you a
place to vent.

I heard from tech support: turns out the movie tutorial is
a separate download. My internet connection is slower than
snails today, so I'll wait until later to download the file.
Thanks for letting me whinge. ;-)

That is our function. A major part of it, anyway. If you are like most
of us, and I'm sure you are, there is no one within shouting distance
who knows what you are talking about. Most of what I say results in my
DH's eyes glazing over and eventually he ventures to say, "You do know
that I don't have a clue what you're talking about, don't you?"
Usually, I'm talking about computers, but the same applies with sewing,
cooking, and a number of other enterprises.

My Shih Tzu just looks at me with one raised eyebrow like
I'm daft. ;-}

I did finally get the movie tutorials to load. By default
the install program was putting them in the WildGinger Demo
directory I recently downloaded. :-( Once I finally
figured out how to direct the install to the proper
directory the movies helped a lot. At the moment, I'm
trying to figure out how to slash-and-pivot a sleeve. I can
do it on the "sample" sleeve they provide, but haven't yet
found how to edit a pattern *I* have created and saved.

Help!!! I know one of the regulars here is a PM expert,
Karen M IIRC?

It's very memory intensive... Make sure you aren't running anything
else and that you have plenty of memory free. I found it took a few
days to get used to.
