I just wanted to let everyone know I had my surgery, (uterine cancer)
Sept 25 and the onc said I'm doing well and no further Treatment is
necessary. I do have to go back in three months for a followup,
probably going to do that for a year or more, just in case.
I do still have to be careful of the incision which isn't quite healed
yet and still gives me a bit if stinging pain, due to stretching the
scar tissue when I bend I think. so I'm still wearing a belly
(elastic) band which they gave me in the hosp which I am using to
prevent to much stretching. it helps a little.
I guess I'll be back to watching babies soon, I miss them but hubby
and I think I should just take them on for a couple days a week, maybe
3 at most after I get built up and have my strength back. That will
give me some time that I'm free to do things for me.

Hurray for you! Hope you heal quickly. Be careful about lifting
babies, though. Lifting anything heavy, as far as that goes.

Welcome back!! glad to hear everything went so well. Now it's your turn
to be babied so take advantage of it for awhile. Start out real slow
with a day and see how that goes before you take on to much.
OF course the sewing machine, only if it's set up and doesn't need to
moved at all, could probably use just a little tiny project. Nothing you
have to strain to do, just some little fun job.

It's great to have you back, Kitty and happy to know the surgery was
successful. Just baby yourself for a while and take good care to let the
incision heal completely before picking up babies or anything heavy.

Good to see you back here. Take as much time as you need to heal
properly (somehow, we just don't "bounce back" like we did at 21) and
don't overdo anything.
