:-) :-) :-) !!!
DGD placed well in the competition today, she's guaranteed a
spot on the team representing the Northwest Region going to
the Nationals Highland Dance in Nashville, Tennessee in
July.
Sharon, get your guest room ready, I think I'm going to
drive I will not fly again if I can help it, so I can make a
swing by Springdale. ;-)
My super DGD, the kilt and jacket I made, the jig outfit DGD
made, the Hornpipe outfit DD made, and the Aboyne
(Nationals) outfit I made are all going to perform at a
National Highland Dance competition.
Yes, I'm proud! And excited!!! ;-)
Pictures soon.
It's been a long day, following the dance competition, I
rushed with DGS to his college so he could perform in the
Spring Concert. The rest of the family joined us as soon as
all the formal pictures were taken of the dancers. They
played Glenn Miller! And George Gershwin! And a Wizard of
Oz medley! DGS was featured on his trombone.
It's been almost too perfect a day.
