I need a manual for an old Universal sewing machine lisa skeen 01-18-2006

It's a black one that looks like a treadle Singer or a FW, cast iron or
whatever it's made of is heavy as lead, lol. Have not been able to find the
model number, but there is a serial number. Any leads appreciated.

If it's heavy as lead it won't be a FW (Featherweight)! :)

If it's Singer, there will be something on it to day so. if you can
find the name and/or serial number for me, I'll try to find out. Send
pix as well if possible. or pop in and join Treadle on, and find a
whole host of willing helpers! :) http://www.treadleon.net

Probably your best bet is this group.

I got info for a recent Universal there. Nice machines but very very
heavy.
