Kate's dark chocolate orange! Kate Dicey 10-06-2006

The chocolate project continues...

Yesterday I cut out and started the burnt orange shrug to go with my
chocolate project. Today I did the niftiest lettuce edge on it with the
Brother serger. :) I am well chuffed with it! I have taken plenty of
pix of how I did it to add to the chocolate project. I'm hoping to get
them up later today, but don't hold yer breff - the news server has
indigestion and keeps hiccupping! All I need to do to complete the
shrug is finish off the front/neck edge with the twin needle on Lily.

This is another Prima magazine free pattern. The more I use these
freeby things the better impressed I am with them. They seem to be
better drafted than a lot of Vogue patterns I've used this summer!

I'm still debating whether I want to make another little top out of the
rest of the bitter chocolate velour next, or chop into something else...

Sounds wonderful!!!! Can't wait to see the pics. And I'm tickled you have
found some really wonderful patterns! Isn't that always such a thrill when
you find a line that really Works!!!!! Yay for Kate!!!!!! :)
