Another thought: On the original, it appears the *side*
bust gathering, where it is sewn to the strap, does not
begin until about 1/3 of the distance down from the top
edge. Since you indicate that the instructions and markings
are poor-to-non-existent, you might consider making that
small alteration on the next iteration.

Great suggestions. I should have read here to find out you had already
made them more clearly before I posted somewhat similar ones at the
dressdiary.

I just went back to Kate's links. I had not read the
comments posted there. GMTA!

Fabulous to say the least, Kate. Red is my favorite color, and if I ever
wore a swimsuit, I'd like one similar.
I bought a new one some 10-years ago and didn't wear it for three years, &
gave it to a niece, who wore it out very soon. She swims daily.
BTW, for anybody wondering about my back problems, it is as I expected,
degenerative disease in my left hip and moving into the back. It's been a
problem for more than 20-years, only getting worse as I age, and I have
never had a flare-up last this last one.
A new physician I saw prescribed a gel to use, instead of taking pills. It
reminds me of Ben-Gay or a mentholated rub, except no odor and the get seems
to absorb more quickly.
I began sewing some today and hopefully I'll get lots done faster now.
Thanks to all who asked.

None of the topical ointments I've used work. I'd like to try a new one.
