Aaargh! I want to stabilize the shoulder seams of the
French terry, but I don't like taped seams in knits. I am
sure I have some clear elastic somewhere in my supplies, but
I can't lay my hands on it. Just returned from TSWLTH and
the clerk had "never heard of clear elastic". After
searching the regular elastics area, I turned 180° in the
notions aisle and found it on a wall with other supplies. I

Thanks again for pointing it out to me.

How exciting, I'm so glad it worked out for you.
Serendipitous, how sometimes a search for one person leads
to a perfect fabric for someone else on a different
newsgroup.

Dear Beverly,

I don't like taped seams either. But you can run off a long chain on
your serger, and serge that into the seam to stabilize it. Use
several strands if you want.

Teri, That's a great idea. The serger is always set up, the elastic is
always hiding under something.
